Worlds

Where rusted steel learns to dream.

While playing this set, I felt less like someone operating a system and more like a life form appearing inside it.

Seven instruments became seven worlds. They did not remain neatly separated: they pulled one another out of shape, exchanged rhythm, shared space and changed meaning through contact. I was another instrument among them — not only through what I played, but through the speed of a thought, the shape of a breath and every physical movement made inside the performance.

The industrial character comes from more than distortion. It is present in pressure, repetition, friction and the sense of metal becoming architecture. Yet the set also contains soft, dreamlike playing. Those voices are not an escape from the harder world. They are its opposite force: a cloud moving over rusted steel, briefly making weight feel suspended.

At other moments dream and physical reality stop behaving like opposites. Cloud and corroded metal begin to move together. The rhythmic consistency of the played instruments gives this contrast a common gait, so the set can become harder or more fragile without losing the life form created inside it.

Technically, the performance remains locked at 125 BPM and largely moves around a D-centred minor/modal field, with the closing movement pulling toward A minor. Two major openings around 14:38 and 31:58 give the organism room to breathe before it rebuilds itself. The result feels less like a chain of tracks and more like one continuous body learning how to inhabit several worlds.
